When Kinky ran for Governor of Texas I was contacted by his campaign to do this drawing. I agreed to include him in the series because of the political equality and awareness he is trying to bring about in Texas. I wanted to include his signature cigar and vest in order to capture the character of this unique musician, author and recent politician.
